‘Once You Break A Knuckle’, the debut short story collection by UEA writer DW (Dave) Wilson, is to be published in the UK by Bloomsbury this week. A story from the collection, ‘The Dead Roads’ - which was written during his MA year - was the 2011 winner of the BBC National Short Story Award. A more recent story, ‘One More Thing Coming Undone’, was recently shortlisted for the $6,000 CBC Short Story Prize.
