The novelist David Nicholls will be appearing at the UEA literary festival this Wednesday, where he will be reading from his new novel ‘Us’ and talking to UEA Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing Henry Sutton about his life and career. ‘Us’ is David Nicholls’ fourth novel and was shortlisted for the 2014 Man Booker Prize. His previous novel, the international bestseller ‘One Day’, was turned into a major Hollywood movie starring Anne Hathaway. David Nicholls also works as a screenwriter and his adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’ will be released this May. The event begins at 7pm and will be held in the University’s main lecture theatre. Tickets may be booked here.
