Boyne, John

John Boyne was born in Ireland in 1971 and is the author of nine novels for adults and four for children. The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas won two Irish Book Awards, was shortlisted for the British Book Award, reached no.1 on the New York Times Bestseller List and was made into an award-winning Miramax feature film. His novels are published in over 40 languages. He lives in Dublin. His ninth novel for adults, A History of Loneliness, was published in the UK in November 2014 and has been shortlisted for Novel of the Year at the 2014 Irish Book Awards.
