Rawblood is the debut novel by UEA alumna Catriona Ward and is published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson this week. Catriona was born in Washington DC and grew up in America, Kenya, Madagascar, Yemen and Morocco. She studied English at St Edmund Hall, Oxford, and graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) at UEA in 2011, having begun her novel while on the course. After livingĀ in New York for four years, where she trained as an actor, she now works as a writer and researcher for Bianca Jagger’s human rights foundation and lives in London.
