Aisle16
Aisle16 is where you put everything that doesn't fit in. The poetry that has grown up in Aisle16 is a mutant hybrid of the highs and lows of modern culture, as barbed as it is beautiful. From its beginnings in 2000 above an old Communist theme pub in Norwich, Aisle16 has become a halfway house for a new generation of live poetry. Its six resident members travel across the country, playing to audiences at music, comedy and literary events. In 2004 they wrote and performed Powerpoint, the most successful poetry show on the Edinburgh Fringe, which toured the UK in 2005.
