Andre Mangeot is a professional charity fundraiser who lives and works near Cambridge. His short stories have appeared in London Magazine and his poetry in many British and American journals. In recent years he has won prizes in the Yorkshire, Kent & Sussex and Bridport competitions and been shortlisted for the Blackwells / TLS prize.

He is a member of the performance group Joy of Six which has played at venues across England and in New York.

A short book of poems, Natural Causes, was published by Shoestring Press in 2003. Mixer is his first full-length collection.
