A new book celebrating four decades of Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia is to be
launched at UEA London on 1st December. ‘Body of Work’ is edited by UEA Professor of Creative Writing, Giles Foden, and is published by Full Circle
Editions. It comprises fifty autobiographical contributions from some of the programme’s best known students and tutors, including Malcolm Bradbury, Kazuo Ishiguro, Rose Tremain, Andrew Motion, Tracy Chevalier, Ian McEwan, Lorna Sage
and George Szirtes. It will be launched alongside a new website – www.newwriting.net – which has been created by UEA and Writers’ Centre Norwich
to showcase the work of UEA students, alumni, faculty and visiting writers of international standing.
