‘Rememberer’ is the second full-length collection of poetry by UEA alumna, Agnes Lehoczky, who last year received the inaugural Jane Martin Poetry Prize at Girton College, Cambridge. ‘Rememberer’ is published by Egg Box and supported by the Arthur Welton Poetry Award. Agnes graduated from UEA’s Creative Writing (Poetry) MA with distinction in 2006 and completed her PhD in Critical and Creative Writing in 2010 under the supervision of George Szirtes. She taught for two years on UEA’s undergraduate programme before taking up a
position teaching on the MA course at the University of Sheffield. Her first two short collections of poetry were published in Hungary in 2000 and 2002, and in 2008 she published her first English collection of poems, ‘Budapest to
Babel’, also with Egg Box. Her collection of essays on the poetry of Ágnes Nemes Nagy, ‘Poetry, the Geometry of Living Substance’, was published in 2011 by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
