Three UEA graduates have been included on the longlist for the 2012 Orange Prize for Fiction. Anne Enright (pictured) graduated from the Creative
Writing MA in 1987 and is nominated for her fifth novel, ‘The Forgotten Waltz’, published by Jonathan Cape last year. Jane Harris graduated from the
MA in 1992 and completed her PhD at UEA in 1995. She is nominated for her second novel, ‘Gillespie and I’, which was published by Faber last year and was shortlisted for the 2011 Galaxy National Book Awards. Aifric Campbell
graduated from the MA in 2003 and the PhD in 2007 and is nominated for her third novel, ‘On The Floor’, which was published by Serpent’s Tail this month. The Orange Prize for Fiction is worth £30,000 to the winner. The shortlist will be announced on 17th April, and the winner on 30th May.
