‘I Should Let Him Tell You’ by Lauren Rose (MA 2013) has recently been longlisted for Glimmer Train’s Family Matters contest, while ‘The Legacy’ by Hannah Coneys (BA 2012; current MA) and ‘The Genie of the Crispy Fried Chicken Shop’ by Dani Redd (current MA) were published in ‘Toast’, an anthology of stories selected by Mardibooks in conjunction with IdeasTap. ‘Cries of London’ by Katy Darby (MA 2006) was broadcast in the short fiction series on BBC Radio 4, and a new short story by Aifric Campbell (pictured) (MA 2003; PhD 2007) appears in ‘How To Be A Man’ edited by Colum McCann and published by Narrative4. Poems by Matthew Spence (MA 2012) have meanwhile appeared in recent issues of The Rialto and Southerly.
