‘Unscorched’, a new play by UEA Creative Writing alumnus Luke Owen, is being performed at the Finborough Theatre in London until 23 November and recently received a four-star review from the Guardian’s theatre critic Michael Billington. Luke (pictured) grew up in Woking and now lives in Norwich, where he works as an actor and copywriter. He graduated from the BA in English and Drama at UEA before joining the Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) MA in 2005. He was subsequently a member of the Royal Court Theatre Young Writers’ Programme, and earlier this year won the Papatango New Writing Prize for ‘Unscorched’.
