‘The Burning’ is the debut collection of poetry by UEA alumna Anna Selby and has just been published in the UK by Salt. Anna graduated from the BA English Literature and Creative Writing in 2004 and completed the MA in Creative Writing (Poetry) in 2005. Her poems have been published in various publications and her poetry-dance collaborations have been shortlisted for The Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award, featured on the BBC Culture Show, and have toured nationally. In 2012, she organised the Poetry Parnassus festival and co-edited The World Record anthology, published by Bloodaxe. She lives in London and works as Literature and Spoken Word Programmer at the Southbank Centre.
