‘Grace’, a short film written by UEA alumna Lynda Williams and produced by Emily Blickem, has won Best Producer award at this year’s Underwire Film Festival, which celebrates short films by women. The film, which was directed by David O’Neill, was previously screened at the short film corner at the Cannes Film Festival. Lynda (pictured) graduated from the UEA MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) in 2006, when she was the winner of the Skillset Bursary for promising new scriptwriters. She writes for film, television and digital fiction, and creates educational resources and works for community projects. ‘Changed’, an interactive digital story created with Andy Campbell, was recently featured at the Norwich Fringe Festival.
