UEA alumnus Richard House has been nominated in the Literature category of the 2014 South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2014 for his quartet of novels ‘The Kills’, which was published as a ‘digital-first’ sequence of four novels in March 2013 and longlisted for the Man Booker Prize. Richard (pictured) graduated from UEA with a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing in 2008 and now teaches at the University of Birmingham. He is the author of two previous novels, ‘Bruiser’ (1997) and ‘Uninvited’ (1998), and is a member of the Chicago-based art collaborative, ‘Haha’, and editor of the digital magazine ‘Fatboy Review’.
