Four UEA Creative Writing Students are included in the first issue of MISO magazine. In addition to an interview with Forward Prize-winning poet Emily Berry, who recently began her PhD in Creative and Critical Writing at UEA, there is new work by Krishan Coupland, a current student on the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) and the winner of the 2012 Manchester Fiction Prize, Rebecca McManus (pictured), who is studying for the English Literature with Creative Writing BA and was a Commended Foyle Young Poet in 2010, and Julianne Pachico, who graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) last year and recently won a scholarship to undertake a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing at UEA. MISO magazine is a bi-annual literary magazine publishing poetry and short stories by current students and recent graduates of Creative Writing courses. Copies of Issue 1 can be purchased here.
