New short stories by three 2013 graduates of the UEA Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) MA have just been accepted for publication. Thomas Morris is from Caerphilly in South Wales and was recently appointed as the editor of The Stinging Fly magazine, based in Dublin. His story ‘17’ will be published in the next issue of Zoetrope in the United States. He is currently working on a collection of stories and a novel, ‘Second Best: The Diaries of a Substitute Goalkeeper’. Lauren Rose was raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Kenyon College in 2011. Her story ‘Aquarium’, which she began at UEA, will appear in the next issue of the American journal Sou’wester, published by Southern Illinois University. She is currently in India, where she is developing a photography and writing blog: 100daysofindia.blogspot.in. Sonal Aggarwal (pictured) grew up in India and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University. She is currently working on a collection of stories, one of which, ‘The Morning Visitor’, has just been published in the prominent Indian journal of politics and art, The Caravan, and can be found here.
