Nature writer Helen Macdonald will be appearing at the UEA literary festival this Wednesday, where she will be reading from her prizewinning book H is for Hawk and talking to UEA Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing Jean McNeil about her life and work. A writer, poet, illustrator, historian and Cambridge academic, Helen Macdonald won the 2014 Samuel Johnson Prize and the Costa Book Award for H is for Hawk. The event begins at 7pm and will be held in the University’s main lecture theatre. Tickets may be booked via the UEA Box Office.
