‘Reading the World: Confessions of a Literary Explorer’ is the first book by UEA alumna Ann Morgan and is published this week by Harvill Secker. Ann (pictured) graduated from Cambridge University with a first-class degree in English literature and subsequently worked as a Campaigns Officer for the architectural history charity, the Victorian Society. She graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) at UEA in 2004 and has since worked as a freelance writer, editor and sub-editor. Reading the World is an account of her project to read a book from every country in the world in a year.
