Exiles by UEA Scriptwriting student Andreas Hadjivassiliou is one of three winning scripts in the TV Drama category of this year’s BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Competition. Andreas (pictured) was born in Sheffield in 1993 and completed a BA in English Literature before joining the MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) at UEA. His first screenplay, Many Rooms, reached the semi-finals of the Shore Scripts competition in 2015, and he is currently working on his second feature-length script, a play and a TV pilot. The three winning scripts in BAFTA Rocliffe competition were performed by professional actors on 6 April in front of a live audience and critiqued by industry guests Greg Brenman and Rebecca De Souza.
