boxes

Jessica Rhodes

as a way of saving money, your mother drives to
all of the McDonald’s’ around    and collects their boxes.

on one of the boxes your mother has written ‘China’ in marker pen
and you record this on Facebook   because your brother has pointed out

that it is a pretty impressive feat    that we have managed
to fit the whole of China into a cardboard box.
