Starry, Starry

Zein Sa'dedin

Dear Vincent held
the weight of the
North Star on his
shoulders, let its
dust sink into
his fingertips,
and devoured
the stellar sky.

Dear Vincent said
there is no blue
without orange,
so he sliced his
skin to give us
the bleeding sun.
