Victorians Undone: Tales of the Flesh in the Age of Decorum is the new book by UEA Professor of Life Writing Kathryn Hughes and is published by Fourth Estate this week. Her biography George Eliot: the Last Victorian (1998) was the winner of the James Tait Black Award while The Short Life and Long Times of Mrs Beeton (2005) was shortlisted for the Samuel Johnson Prize and the Andre Simon Prize. Kathryn teaches on UEA’s MA in Biography and Creative Non-Fiction.
