When You Lived Inside The Walls and Other Stories is the debut collection of short fiction by UEA writer Krishan Coupland and is published by Stonewood Press this week. Krishan graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2014 and is currently undertaking his PhD in Creative and Critical Writing, also at UEA. He was the winner of the Manchester Fiction Prize in 2011 and the Bare Fiction Prize in 2016, and has been shortlisted for the Bristol Short Story Prize, the Wasafiri New Writing Prize, the Storgy short story competition, and the Tibor Jones Pageturner Prize. His short stories and poetry have appeared in Brittle Star, Aesthetica, Ambit, Litro and Fractured West. He is the editor of the online literary magazine Neon.
