Sixteen Horses, the debut literary crime novel by UEA graduate Greg Buchanan, has been acquired for publication by Mantle in the UK and by Flatiron in the US for a six-figure sum. It has also been acquired for publication in nine foreign languages, with more deals expected to follow at the London Book Fair. Greg (pictured) graduated from the UEA Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) MA in 2018, having previously completed a BA in English Literature at Cambridge and a PhD at King’s College, London. He has worked on a variety of bestselling, award-winning video games, including No Man’s Sky: Atlas Rises, and was recently named in Forbes Magazine’s ‘30 Under 30’ list in the ‘Sports & Games’ category for his work in scripting video games. Sixteen Horses will be published in 2021.
