Twenty Theatres to See Before You Die by current UEA student Amber Massie-Blomfield has been shortlisted for the 2019 Theatre Book Prize. It was published by Penned in the Margins last year. Amber (pictured) is completing her MA in Biography and Creative Non-Fiction at UEA, and was recently chosen as one of the Gladstone Library’s political writers in residence for 2019. Her work has been published by Standart, Unbound, Annexe Magazine, The Wrong Quarterly, The Independent, The Guardian, Exeunt and New Internationalist. She is a regular contributor to The Stage. She received the Society of Authors’ Michael Meyer Award in 2016, and in 2018 a Special Achievement Award at the Off West End Awards for her work as Executive Director of Camden People’s Theatre. The winner of the Theatre Book Prize will be announced in 11 June.
