Peter Goulding wins Rheidol Prize

On Slate by recent UEA graduate Peter Goulding has won the Rheidol Prize for Writing with a Welsh Theme or Setting at the New Welsh Writing Awards 2019. Peter (pictured) graduated from the UEA MA in Biography and Creative Non-Fiction in 2018. Originally from the north of England, he now lives in Thetford and works as a self-employed millwright. He is currently completing Slatehead: The Punks Who Climbed The Slate And Made It Great. He will receive a prize of £1,000 as an advance against e-publication by New Welsh Review under the New Welsh Rarebyte imprint.
