The Angel Tiger and Other Stories is the new collection by UEA alumnus Barrie Sherwood and is published by Epigram Books this month. Born in Hong Kong of Canadian and French nationality, Barrie now lives in Singapore where he is an assistant professor in the School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University. He graduated with a PhD in Creative & Critical Writing from UEA in 2008, and is the author of two novels: The Pillow Book of Lady Kasa (DC Books, 2000) and Escape from Amsterdam (Granta, 2007).
