New York to California is the new memoir-travelogue by UEA alumnus Jeremy Page and has recently been published by Propolis. Jeremy graduated from the MA in Creative Writing in 1994 and returned to UEA as a Writing Fellow in 2010 and as a tutor on the MA in 2011. For the past 20 years has worked as a script editor for the BBC, Channel 4, Film Four and Netflix. His first novel Salt was published by Penguin in 2007 and shortlisted for the Jelf First Novel Award and the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. His second novel The Wake won the Fiction prize in the 2009 East Anglian Book Awards and was shortlisted for the New Angle Prize for East Anglian Literature. In 2015 he was nominated for the International Impac Dublin literary award for his third novel The Collector of Lost Things and for the BBC Short Story Award for his story ‘Do It Now, Jump the Table’.
