This Paradise, the debut collection of short stories by Ruby Cowling, has been longlisted for this year’s Orwell Prize for Political Fiction. The book was published by UEA’s independent publishing imprint Boiler House Press last year. The shortlist for the prize will be announced in mid-May and the winner, who will receive £3,000, will be unveiled on George Orwell’s birthday, Tuesday 25 June.
