Che Yeun has joined UEA as the 2020-21 David T.K Wong Fellow. Che was born in Seoul, Korea, and raised in Singapore, China, Hungary, and Japan. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans and is currently working towards a PhD in the History of Science at Harvard University. Her fiction has been published in Granta, Virginia Quarterly Review, Kenyon Review, among other places, and has been nominated on three occasions for a Pushcart Prize. During her time at UEA, she will be working to complete a collection of short stories set in South Asia.
