Four UEA alumni have been shortlisted for the 2020 East Anglian Book Awards, a partnership between Jarrold, the Eastern Daily Press, and the National Centre for Writing. Edward Parnell (MA 2007) is nominated in the Biography & Memoir section for Ghostland: In Search of a Haunted Country (HarperCollins). Jeremy Page (MA 1994) is nominated in the General Non-Fiction category for New York to California (Propolis). And Ramona Herdman (MA 2001) and Luke Wright (BA 2003) are nominated in the Poetry category for A warm and snouting thing (The Emma Press) and The Remains of Logan Dankworth (Penned in the Margins) respectively. The category winners will be announced 31 October, and the overall Book of the Year Award winner will receive £1,000, donated by the PACCAR Foundation.
