Three UEA Creative Writing graduates have been shortlisted for the 2021 BBC Audio Drama Awards. Luke Wright, who graduated from the BA in English Literature with Creative Writing in 2003 is nominated in the Best Debut Performance category for Christabel. Janice Okoh (pictured), who graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) in 2008, is nominated in the Best Adaptation category for Cane by Jane Toomer, and Beth Crane, who graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) in 2012, is nominated in the Best Podcast or Online Audio Drama category for Murmurs, co-written with Janina Matthewson, Tom Crowley, and Chris and Jen Sugden. The finalists will be announced on 9 February, and the winners on 21 March.
