Harriet Avery wins Exeter Novel Prize

Saving Rosalind, the debut novel by UEA alumna Harriet Avery, has won this year’s Exeter Novel Prize, judged by literary agent Kate Nash. Harriet (pictured) graduated from the BA in English Literature with Creative Writing in 2015 and from the MFA in Creative Writing in 2018 and currently works as a librarian. Saving Rosalind has also recently been nominated for the Lucy Cavendish Prize, Caledonia Novel Award and the Blue Pencil First Novel Award.
