Wife of Osiris is a prose poem in pamphlet form by UEA alumna Meryl Pugh and is published by Verve Press this week. Meryl graduated from the UEA PhD in Creative and Critical Writing in 2013 and recently returned to UEA to teach on the MA in Creative Writing (Poetry). She is the author of two previous pamphlets: Relinquish (Arrowhead Press) in 2007 and The Bridle (Salt) in 2011. Her debut collection Natural Phenomena was published in 2018 by Penned in the Margins and longlisted in 2020 for the inaugural Laurel Prize, an annual award for the best collection of nature or environmental poetry.
