Three Graves is the debut novel by UEA alumnus Sean Gregory and is published by Bluemoose Books this week. It was previously longlisted for the Bridport First Novel Award. Sean graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) in 2010 as the recipient of a Skillset Bursary from the British Film Council, and subsequently received a Pathway to Excellent bursary for his PhD at the University of Salford, which he completed in 2019. Sean’s work for theatre has been performed at the Hampstead Theatre, Contact Theatre, Arcola Theatre 24/7 Theatre Festival, and at Cambridge Junction. Script in Hand was awarded an Editors’ Choice Award at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and he has been a recipient of a Peggy Ramsay Bursary for theatre writing. His short story ‘Louish & Benim’ was the winner of the 2019 Aesthetica Creative Writing Award, and he was was longlisted for the BBC National Short Story Award in 2020. Sean is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Leeds Arts University.
