Fairest Creatures is the new crime novel by UEA Karen Taylor and is published by Leamington Books this week. Under its original title of Grim Fairy Tale it was longlisted for the CWA Debut Dagger in 2020. Karen graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Crime Fiction) in 2019, and has previously written for children as K.L. Taylor. Her middle grade sci-fi novel Turbulence was published in 2013, and her YA thriller Off The Rails in 2014. As a journalist and editor she has worked on a range of trade and corporate publications and contributed to newspapers and magazines including The Financial Times, The London Evening Standard, The London Magazine, The Independent, and The Far Eastern Economic Review. Her first thriller The Trade was published by Endeavour Press in 2013.
