Poems by two UEA alumni have been shortlisted for the 2021 Live Canon International Poetry Competition. Josephine Corcoran, who graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Poetry) in 1997, is nominated for ‘A Baby Speaks on his Birthday in an Autumn Garden, 2020’, while Stuart Charlesworth (pictured), who graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Poetry) in 2012, is longlisted for ‘You’re the Boy with a Gun in his Bedroom’. The Live Canon competition is judged by Jennifer Wong and is worth £1,000 to the winner.
