Shadow Town is the new novel for children by UEA alumnus Richard Lambert and is published by Everything With Words this week. Richard graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2010 and published his debut collection of poetry, Night Journey, in 2012. His second collection, The Nameless Places, was published by Arc in 2017 and was shortlisted for the East Anglian Book Awards. His short story ‘The Hazel Twig and Olive Tree’ was shortlisted for the 2017 Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award, and he was the winner of the 2019 Fish Short Story Prize. In 2020 Everything With Words also published his debut YA novel, The Wolf Road, which was shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award.
