When I Wake Up by Seth Fishman and Jessixa Bagley
When I Wake Up is the new picture book for children by UEA alumnus Seth Fishman and is published by Greenwillow Books, with illustrations by Jessixa Bagley. Seth was born and raised in Texas and graduated from Princeton University before joining the UEA MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2004. Since graduation in 2005 he has worked as a literary agent in New York, currently with The Gernert Company. His first book, The Well’s End, a thriller for young adults, was published in 2014 and was followed in 2015 by The Dark Water. His first picture book, A Hundred Billion Trillion Stars, illustrated by Isabel Greenberg, was published in 2017 and won the Mathical Book Prize. This was followed by two more books illustrated by Isabel Greenberg, Power Up in 2019 and the Ocean in Your Bathtub in 2020. Seth lives in LA with his wife and son.
