Sensitive: The Power of Feeling in a World That Doesn’t is the first book by UEA alumna Hannah Jane Walker and is published by Aster this week. Hannah graduated from UEA with a BA in English Literature in 2004 before gaining an MA in Poetry from Newcastle University and in 2020 was one of three new poets showcased in the fifth volume of Primers from Nine Arches Press. A former associate artist at the National Centre for Writing and Cambridge Junction, her plays have been published by Oberon and Nasty Little Press. She is currently an artist in residence at Cambridge Biomedical Campus, collaborating with scientists on outdoor poetic visual art installations.
