The Wolf Road by UEA alumnus Richard Lambert has been longlisted for the Yoto Carnegie Greenaway Awards. Richard graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2010 and published his debut collection of poetry, Night Journey, in 2012. His second collection, The Nameless Places, was published by Arc in 2017 and was shortlisted for the East Anglian Book Awards. His short story ‘The Hazel Twig and Olive Tree’ was shortlisted for the 2017 Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award, and he was the winner of the 2019 Fish Short Story Prize. The Wolf Road was published by Everything With Words in 2020 and shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award in 2021. It was the winner of the Mal Peet Children’s Award at the East Anglian Book Awards. Richard’s new novel for children, Shadow Town, was published by Everything With Words in October last year.
