Laura Ashton Hill shortlisted for CWA Debut Dagger

Holloway Castle by UEA alumna Laura Ashton Hill has been shortlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association Debut Dagger, which is a competition for the opening of a crime novel by a writer who isn’t represented by an agent and hasn’t previously published a novel. Laura (pictured) graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Crime Fiction) in 2019 and was longlisted for the Caledonia Novel Award in 2021. The winner of the Debut Dagger will be announced on 29 June.
