Small Angels is the new novel by UEA alumna Lauren Owen and is published this week by Tinder Press in the UK and Random House in the US. Lauren received a BA in English Literature from St Hilda’s College, Oxford, in 2006 and an MA in Victorian Literature from the University of Leeds in 2007. She graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) at UEA in 2008, winning that year’s Curtis Brown Award for best student. She has since completed a PhD on Gothic writing and fan culture at the University of Durham. Her first novel, The Quick, was published by Jonathan Cape in 2014.
