A History of Delusions: The Glass King, a Substitute Husband and a Walking Corpse is the first book by UEA alumna Victoria Shepherd and has recently been published in the UK by Oneworld and in the USA by Simon and Schuster. Victoria graduated from the UEA MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2005 and has since worked as producer for BBC Radio on such programmes as ‘Open Book’, ‘Night Waves’ ‘Men’s Hour’, ‘The Kitchen Cabinet’, ‘The Film Programme’ and ‘Gardener’s Question Time’. She originally conceived and produced A History of Delusions as a ten-part series for Radio 4, and is currently writing a book about the antiquarian, George Fabian Lawrence.
