Salt by Magdalene Bird

Salt, a play written by UEA alumna Magdalene Bird, is to be staged by Theatre 503 in Battersea, London, between 13-17 September. It is directed by Laura Clifford and produced by Jake Curran-Pipe. Magdalene graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) in 2019 and currently works as literary agent’s assistant at MacFarlane Chard Associates. Her writing has been produced or commissioned by ITV (Silverprint Pictures), Little Island Productions, AMC, RADA, Westminster Radio, DSL, The Pleasance Theatre, The Tristan Bates Theatre, Secret Attic, Egg Box Publishing and ISYM. Salt was shortlisted for Theatre 503’s International Playwriting Award in 2020 and longlisted for both the Matchstick Theatre Company Award and the Papatango New Writing Award in 2021.
