How to Marrie A Rich Man, a novel-in-progress by UEA alumna Linda Temienor-Vincent, has won the 2023 Adventures in Fiction Spotlight First Novel Award. Linda (pictured) gained a Bachelor of Education in English & Literature from the University of Benin and a Masters in Public & International Affairs from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, before joining the Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) MA at UEA in 2021 as the recipient of a Global Voices Scholarship. She graduated in 2022. With a background in PR and Media Services, Linda facilitates art-related training for small businesses in Nigeria. As part of the Spotlight First Novel Award she will receive a package of mentoring to help her prepare her novel for publication.
