The Anthropology of Drowning by UEA alumnus Delwar Hussain has been longlisted for the Felicity Bryan Associates New Voices competition, which offers tailored editorial support to three writers during the development of a work-in-progress. Delwar (pictured) is a social anthropologist who graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2020 as the recipient of that year’s UEA Crowdfunded BAME Writer’s Scholarship.
