‘Consultation’ by UEA alumnus Leeor Ohayon has won third place in The London Magazine Short Story Prize. Leeor (pictured) graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in 2022 and is currently studying on the Creative and Critical PhD. In 2022 he was shortlisted for the White Review Short Story Prize, the QuietManDave Prize, and was selected for the 2022-23 London Library Emerging Writers Programme. His story ‘Gahnun on Shabbat’ was the winner of the 2021 Royal Society of Literature’s V.S Pritchett Prize and was published in Prospect Magazine and the RSL Review. In 2021 he also won the Leicester Writes Short Story Prize and was shortlisted for that year’s Brick Lane Bookshop Short Story Prize.
