Trondheim by Cormac James

Trondheim is the latest novel by UEA alumnus Cormac James and was published by Bellevue Literary Press in February. Cormac was born and grew up in Cork,  Ireland,  and since 2002 has lived in Montpellier,  France.  He graduated from the UEA MA in Creative Writing in 1994. He has published short fiction in Columbia, 3rd Bed, Guernica, AGNI, Phoenix Irish Short Stories, and The Dublin Review. His first novel, Track and Field, was published in 2000. The Surfacing, his second novel and his North American debut novel, was published in 2014. He was the recipient of the largest Literature Bursary awarded in 2010 by the Arts Council of Ireland,  on the strength of the opening section of The Surfacing.
