The Night in Question is the newest novel by UEA alumna Susan Fletcher and is published by Transworld this week. Susan was born in Birmingham in 1979 and graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) at UEA in 2002. Her first novel, Eve Green, won the Whitbread First Novel Award, a Betty Trask Prize and the Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award. Her second novel, Oystercatchers, was published in 2007 and shortlisted for the Romantic Novel of the Year Award. Corrag, published in 2010, was shortlisted for the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize and the Writers’ Guild Best Fiction Book Award. In 2014 Chicken House published A Little in Love, her first novel for young adults, which went on to win the 2016 North East Children’s Book Award. In 2016 Virago published Let Me Tell You About A Man I Knew, and also House of Glass in 2018.
